A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Indiana Funeral Care; Harry W. More Chapel at 11 am. Friends may visit with the family from 10 am until the 11 am service time.

Mary Love Mickens was born on September 5,1926 in Henderson, Tennessee to the late Eddie and Ada Ball Mickens. She was the 10th born out of 12.

Mary Love met her late husband James Armstrong and they wed on June 16,1946 in Corinth, Mississippi.

Mary Love was a committed and dedicated volunteer and employee of Goodwill industries, for 30+ years where she was always willing and ready to lend a helping hand. Mary touched many lives and was a positive influence in the community.

Mary Love was called home on April 5,2017 to be with the Lord, her parents, and husband, along with 5 sisters and 6 brothers.

Mary Love leaves to cherish her memory: all of her niece’s and nephews whom she considered her children from her sisters and brothers and a host of other great nieces, great nephews and friends.
